Modern Pathogenic Complex of Pine-woods Forests of Volyn Polissia

Purpose. To define basic characteristic conformities of the swift withering of the pine forests of Volyn Polissia, set their reasons and to do a prognosis credible consequences.
Methods. The extended forest pathology inspections of stands are conducted at forming of stratum base of the withering pine forests. By rout reconnaissance and detailed inspections was overcame 43 stratum units with the emergence of the sharp swift withering in five forest districts of state enterprise «Manevytske forestry».
Results. The article presents the results of inspection of areas of the withering pine forests in state enterprise «Manevytske forestry». The most characteristic conformities of the present sharp withering are described. Reason of withering is diagnosed – progress distribution of aggressive associations of bark beetles and ophiostamoid fungi. The mass defeat of bark beetles conduces to violation of descending stream of water providing of tree, and the infection of ophiostamoid fungi predetermines a disease of trees on the vascular mycosis, that fully halts connection between a crown and rootage. Information is given about the nomenclature of wreckers. The characteristic symptoms of the present sharp withering of pine-tree are described, which will allow them to identify in the field terms.
Scientific novelty. It was found that an apex bark beetle after the concentration in the hearths of defeat and intensity of harmful activity acquires a role and value of primary wrecker. The favorable climatic terms of the last years resulted, that this species develops not in two, but in three generations for a year.
Practical meaningfulness. The mechanism of defeat of pine-tree is described by a new pathogenic complex. It was found that the greatest concentration of apex bark beetle is fixed in the hearths of defeat at the end of autumn, that it follows to take into account at planning sanitary health-improvement measures in the forests. The prognosis is done of emergency of ecological crisis, staggered a new pathogenic complex, in the pine forests, their subsequent destabilization and degradation, growth of speed of distribution and area of infection.
