General information on the species composition of the family Rosaceae Juss. of the Shatsk’ Poozer’ya is summarized. Among the 59 species of vascular plants are listed (14,8 % of the species of Ukraine as a whole), natural flora is represented by 40 species of 16 genera. In different types of the Shatsk’ poozer'ya cultivated phytocenoses there are both decorative, fruity, phytoncidal, phytomeliorative, etc. There are 19 species of the family Rosaceae, of which 15 are introducents. Among the exotic there are most of all from the North America (Aronia melanocarpa (Michx.) Elliot., Amelanchier spicata (Lam.) K. Koch., Padus serotina (Ehrh.) Ag., Physocarpus opulifolius (L.) Maxim.), from East Asia (Cerasus tomentosa (Thunb.) Wall., Chaenomeles japonica (Thunb.) Amelanchier spicata, Prunus divaricata, Physocarpus opulifolius, Padus serotina, Rosa rugosa Thunb. and Spiraea salicifolia L. may enter into natural and semi-natural phytocenoses.
