Abstract

In Volyn HIV epidemic lasts 21 year and covered all administrative districts. Daily 1–2 turns in new HIV infections. In recent years has changed to the main route of transmission – parenteral sexual and as a consequence, the annual increase in the number of HIV + pregnant women, which indicates the favorable development of the epidemic and the spread of HIV in wealthy segments of the population. The introduction of antiretroviral therapy, despite the incomplete suppression of HIV replication, promotes the normalization of the major pathogenetic important indicators of the immune system, increase CD4 + helper T-lymphocyte subpopulations and increase immunoregulatory index, and leads to virological efficacy.
