Monitoring of Ecological and Faunistic Situation and New Ways of Solving Environmental Problems in the Ecosystems of Transboundary Territories of Polesia

Abstract

Actual changes in faunal complexes in the ecosystem of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border are analyzed. The risks of biological safety from the wild animals are identified. The relevance of cross-border cooperation at the cluster level, monitoring of biodiversity, the compilation of Red Data Book and «Black book» of Polesie are discussed. The efficiency as indicators of fauna and ecosystem change method of regular analysis of food owls Strigiformes on permanent territories are proved.
